OurRainbow Press is a children’s book publisher and distributor dedicated to promoting the self esteem of children with emphasis on minority cultures. We provide quality preschool and early elementary books along with other appropriate learning materials. The images and experiences in our books and products reflect the rainbow of colors our society embodies. Elaine Banks Collins was born in Harlem, New York. She is a childcare expert, recipient of the National Council of Negro Women’s Legacy Lady Award, and founder and president of EBC Education Services Inc. Formerly, she was the Associate Director for Sesame Street’s Preschool Education Program. The "Read, Play and Learn Series" was developed to assist parents and educators on how to use literacy as a foundation for children’s learning.
